Words to Live By

Fame or integrity: which is more important?
Money or happiness: which is more valuable?
Success or failure: which is more destructive?
If you look to others for fulfillment,
you will never truly be fulfilled.
If your happiness depends on money,
you will never be happy with yourself.
Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.

Hey Stephen.
This is cool material that I will run with. This point about realizing that nothing is lacking is big. It means no excuses can be made because everything is already there, which it is. This would mean that opportunity is right in our hands once this realization is made, which it is.
I’m glad you posted this.

Hey Armen,
I agree. I also think that if we realize that nothing is lacking we can stop striving so very hard in wasted effort in trying to change the way things are that burns up precious life energy. If instead we let go and let things flow as they will all things come together in their own time.
Control is an illusion. As the people who recently suffered because of earthquakes would know. The earth gives a shrug and we all die. So I say let go and be where you are now and love every minute of it. Do things and work but don’t be attached to the outcome. It will be what it will be.

Hi Stephen!
I like your words. You are very intelligent and it makes you attractive! I know that sounds bold, but we only live once right? Thank you for your inspiration. I have been sad today and this brightened me up. My favorite parts of reading are inspiring quotes. Honestly, I love quotes of all kinds. You are like a shining star.

Hi Tiffany,
As far as I know we do only live once in this particular compilation of form
I’m glad something on Balanced Existence (BE) was helpful to you. That’s why I created BE and why I keep working on it. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.
