Why Do You Train?

I run trails because I want to, swim laps or catch waves because I enjoy it, spar and roll because it is pure competition, rock climb because it’s fun and challenging on many different levels, go out into the bush and cut down a tree and burn it all night to keep myself warm and the dingos away just because I’m alive and exist, do handstands, jump off stuff and do bear crawls, ape step and ground kong simply for the joy of moving.

An OMEGA-3 Breakfast of Champions

Walnuts, Macadamias and flax seeds are great sources of plant based OMEGA-3 fat. OMEGA-3 fats are so important for so many things. Deficiencies in OMEGA-3 fats have been associated with asthma, heart disease and learning deficiencies. OMEGA-3 fats are termed “essential” because your body cannot make it out of other compounds. Thus you must get enough of it in your diet each and every day. If you use good quality eggs you’ll be getting some additional animal based OMEGA-3 fats as well.
